Singing, sounding, expressing ourselves are our birth right. Every individual’s voice is as unique as their fingerprint, and everyone has a voice to be shared. With ‘HeartSong Singing’ Delia welcomes people of all ages, experiences and backgrounds to join together vocally, creating an interweaving tapestry of harmony and sound far beyond what any one individual could create alone. HeartSong Singing’s focus is on the enjoyment of singing together in an atmosphere of equality, acceptance, connection and friendship. Songs are taught by ear and learned playfully through the body with ease and creativity. Each singing session or workshop is designed as a nourishing and joyful vocal experience through which participants can deepen their sense of self, relax, breathe, connect and enjoy themselves through the act of singing.
HeartSong Singing offers material from around the world, in glorious 2-4-part harmony (or more!): uplifting African songs, Gospels, Native American-Indian chants, Sufi songs, Taizé chants and sacred or meditative songs, Eastern European songs, traditional rounds and cannons, contemporary songs written by colleagues in the Natural Voice Network, and far more…
