My interest in self transformation began at 14, whilst, on a quest to heal a childhood knee condition, I discovered the A T….and never looked back!  Fascinated and eager to learn more, I trained as an Alexander Technique teacher when I was 17, graduating from Don Burton’s Fellside Alexander School in 1989.

Following personal experiences of bereavements and traumas I was soon compelled to develop and deepen this ‘foundation work’. This led to pioneering a more sensitive, intuitive and ‘listening’ approach to Alexander work in relation to clients experiencing shock, trauma or grief.

I went on to further explore the powerful effects of mind on the body through Brandon Bay’s powerful, psycho-neuro-immunology-based healing method – ‘The Journey’.  I have expanded on this work through trainings in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) at the Phil Parker Training Institute and also with Positive Intelligence’s Mental Fitness training with Shirzad Chamine.

In 2017 I created The South East Alexander School, a professional Alexander Technique teacher training program, holistically addressing the physical and also the emotional, energetic and psychological aspects of Alexander work as an integrated part of the training.

In addition to this work I enjoy offering  regular ‘HeartSong Acappella singing’ workshops, choirs, vocal trainings and breath work, all underpinned by Alexander work and positive psychology.

I love to work creatively, with people who are ready and eager to change, grow and further develop!

My specialities lie in working with musicians and singers…. with individuals experiencing trauma…with Alexander Technique teachers and holistic therapists…and with anyone truly ready to dive deeply into a process of self-discovery!
